Diploma in Employment Law (Online): This short term online diploma is designed for anyone with an interest in Irish employment law. Its purpose is to engender debate and discussion on some of the key aspects of an area of law that impacts on the working life of both employers and employees.

BA (Hons) in Creative Digital Media

On this course, you will develop expertise in media production, event design, audience research and media criticism. You will become a flexible producer of content for digital media networks, developing excellent presentation and organisational skills. From the very beginning of the course, you will engage with the city of Dublin and its digital and cultural landscape, with a strong emphasis on field work and internships. You will make and create content for media projects, including digital photographic, video and web-based work and your work will be exhibited in digital and traditional forms.

MSc International Tourism Management

The MSc programme comprises a combination of business and management modules, together with modules covering critical aspects of tourism and events management, and a dissertation. It is anticipated that many students will be taking this Masters as a conversion programme and may previously have studied related generic or vocational degrees (e.g. Leisure Management, Business Studies).

LL.B (Hons) Irish Law with Accounting

The LL.B (Hons) Irish Law with Accounting degree is a four year undergraduate programme in the study of Irish law and accounting. As a dual disciplinary degree programme students have the flexibility of catering their study towards either the legal or accountancy professions or a combination of both. The programme will provide students with a basis to pursue a career in business or law thereby expanding the potential career opportunities for graduates of the programme.

This new and fascinating course is designed as a practical and accessible introduction to contemporary critical thinking for those who are interested in philosophy and wish to examine key concepts and big ideas through the lens of the contemporary world and pressing current events

Diploma in Introduction to Eating Disorders: Dispelling Myths: This 10-week diploma will introduce and examine key themes in the spectrum of eating disorders. Eating disorders encompass a wide field and include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder and other food-related disorders. These disorders are as prevalent as they are misunderstood and this diploma seeks to dispel many of the myths that have accompanied them.

Diploma in Child Psychotherapy for Parents- Parenting that Works: This illuminating and dynamic course 6 week diploma is designed for parents who wish to understand the various processes, conscious and unconscious, that underpin their relationships with their children and vice versa. As a method of psychological help, psychoanalytic psychotherapy can be of enormous value to parents and is based on the theory that early relationships and childhood experiences of love, loss, sexuality and death establish patterns in the mind which have enduring effects and are the source of later conflicts that can block emotional and cognitive development.

Diploma in Wit and Wisdom Literature of the Irish Revival: This interesting 10 week seminar series will introduce and examine some of the key literary works written in the period of the Irish Revival. We will read W B Yeats’s plays and poetry, short stories from James Joyce’s Dubliners, and sections from Ulysses. We will also read Synge’s Riders to the Sea, Sean O’Casey’s Juno and the Paycock and Elizabeth Bowen’s important novel The Last September.
