The School of Education (Department of Education Approved Online Summer Courses for Primary Teachers)
Independent Colleges was founded in 2007 and since then has attained both national and international accreditation from the Higher Education & Training Awards Council (HETAC), the University of the West of England, ACCA and the Honorable Society of King’s Inns.
Independent Colleges is pleased to announce its exciting Summer courses for múinteoirí bunscoile. The six new courses will provide teachers with the opportunity to study from the comfort of their homes in a manner which suits their lifestyles. All courses are Department of Education & Science approved and qualify for three extra personal vacation days (EPV).
From course content to enhanced learning utilising modern technologies, our tutors are facilitated and trained in promoting high quality interactions among course participants. Each lesson is accompanied by a reflective set of questions to encourage interaction and feedback from the course participants. Each participant will be expected to contribute and engage with the subject matter, which will be monitored daily by the course facilitator. Each participant will receive clear guidelines as to that which is expected of them in responding to the discussion forums’ questions.
