Overview

This course will give participants a jargon free, practical approach to Public Relations, with a particular emphasis on on-line PR and Social Media. The course will be facilitated by Deirdre Waldron and Greg Canty of Award Winning PR and Creative Agency, Fuzion who will provide participants with real life case studies, practical methodologies that work and give participants a clear understanding of the PR process.
The course will be complemented with a number of guest lecturers from the industry who will provide very practical and useful insights into the world of PR, from a variety of angles.
There will be extensive and practical use of on-line PR/Social Media tools such as twitter, facebook, LinkedIn and blogging throughout the programme, and how they should be used to complement the traditional processes.

Participants will focus on a real life project, chosen by the participant, and using the tools learned on the programme to critique/analyse the project-what worked, what didn't and suggestions on how it could be improved.
