Each member of our FE1 lecture team has a wealth of experience in delivering preparatory courses for the FE1 examinations and they have been selected on the basis of their ability to deliver the key points of the syllabus as they relate to the examinations in a clear and concise manner. Excellent Study Materials

Independent College FE1 manuals contain the most up to date (2011) and course specific information available to students. Each FE1 law manual is laid out in a student friendly style, incorporating an elaborate case index, and a special FE1 law exam tips section. Our law manuals have been prepared by lecturers who have a unique insight into how best to prepare students for these law examinations.All students are provided with sample suggested solutions to some of the most recent past examination papers.

Homework Facility

Students may avail of our homework facility whereby students are welcome to attempt answers to past examination questions. These questions are corrected and returned with feedback by a course tutor.

Online Lectures

Classroom Based lectures are delivered each week from our premises on Dawson Street. These lectures are also recorded and made available on Moodle. While classroom-based lectures provide students with a structured learning environment in our superbly located city centre campus, the online lectures provide students with remote access allowing students the freedom to study from their home. All students are entitled to avail of repeat viewing of lectures online.

Comprehensive Law Library

Our law library is a quiet haven for studying law in the heart of Dublin 2. Students have access to multiple copies of texts, law reports and periodicals, as well as on-campus and remote access to LEXIS-NEXIS, WESTLAW UK, HEINONLINE and FIRSTLAW databases. The College has separate lending and reference libraries. The student study room boasts 30 Apple Mac computers, which are customised for on-line streaming video tutorials. While the necessary are provided in the form of course manuals, our fully stocked library provides invaluable access to secondary sources in law. Library Hours: The Library is open 12 hours a day, 5 days per week and on Saturdays. Extended weekend opening hours will commence in the lead up to the examinations.

*Complimentary Memory Skills Seminar will be held by Charles Garvan of the Memory Academy for  Class Room Based FE1 students on Sunday December 4th 2011.
