In the four years since its inception students undertaking the FE1 course have achieved a total of 21 Law Society Entrance Examinations 1st placed prizes. This includes the Overend Prize for Best Overall Student Performance in three of the past four years.
The Law School would like to congratulate our students’ success in obtaining SEVEN 1st placed prizes in the FE1 Examinations for 2011.

Caroline Stone (1st place for Law of Torts), James Quirke (1st place for Criminal Law), Filip Kobylkiewicz (1st place Equity of Law – Patrick O’Connor Memorial Prize), Brendan Curran (1st place for Contract Law), Kim Bowen (1st place Law of Property).In absentia, Sarah Jenkinson achieved 1st place for Contract Law and Eavan Buckley achieved 1st place for European Law.

The Law School celebrated the news that students of its FE1 Preparatory Course won a total of 4 1st Place Prizes in the Law Society of Ireland’s Final Entrance. Examinations (Part 1) in 2009.The winners included the Best Overall Student (The Overend Scholar) and follows the success of last year where students won a total of seven 1st placed prizes .
