The Independent College Dublin Business Conference is an annual event hosted by the Business Faculty at Independent College Dublin. The open-access segment runs through three evenings, February 26th, 27th, and 28th, from 6.30 to 9.00 p.m. each evening, at the Independent College premises in Dawson St, Dublin 2.
The conference sessions are aimed at students and staff of Independent College, together with invitees from the business and academic world, with the objective of stimulating discussion, critical thinking and research on issues of importance in the Irish business, economic and social environment.
The overall theme of the Conference this year is ‘The National Recovery – Strategies and Pitfalls’, and business or academic guests are welcome to any or all of the sessions. We have invited a number of specialists, external and internal to Independent College, to address particular aspects of the challenges, and potential pitfalls, associated with the hoped-for national economic recovery, and they will deal with sub-themes from export performance to innovation to values.
