Independent College Dublin invites you to attend a FREE two hour Mediation Seminar for Professionals on 21st February from 1pm-3pm at Independent College Dublin.
Overview
The aim of the seminar is to provide attendees with a practical insight into how mediation works and why mediation matters. Disputes and conflict are an inevitable part of daily life and businesses. Increasingly, dispute resolution processes such as negotiation, mediation and conciliation, are being used to prevent and manage conflict more effectively than traditional methods of resolution such as litigation as they are proven to be more time and cost effective for the parties involved.
The seminar will provide attendees with an overview of the various stags in the mediation process , it will update attendees on the current legal developments in relation to mediation, it will inform attendees of the potential benefits of incorporating mediation into their business and it will explore the skills used by mediators in resolving conflict. The seminar will be delivered by Nicola White who is the Course Director for Dispute Resolution at Independent Colleges Ltd. She is also a Consultant with CEDR Ireland and regarded as a leading national and international expert on mediation.
