Having just completed the Irish for Primary Teacher’s course with the Independent Academy, I cannot recommend the course enough for anyone considering retaking their Leaving Cert Irish exams with a view to becoming a teacher.
The classes were focused and we were provided with comprehensive notes throughout the course. Excellent support was available throughout the course and no question was too small. I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and achieved a great result in my exams(B3). Re-taking my exams was something I had thought of numerous times over the last 12 years and I am delighted to say that I have now achieved that goal.
I found the course to be very well run, and organized, the revision courses were really a great help for me to show me what I needed to improve on, particularly for the Oral Exam.
The class materials/notes were excellent and I found that Matt was always available to come back with an answer to any question I had, I also thought the innovative teaching methods really added to the course.
I would recommend the course to any student thinking of going back to study Irish again
