The first issue of Compass, an alternative travel magazine produced by the students of the MA in Journalism programme at Independent College Dublin, has just been published. The magazine is distributed digitally via the Irish Independent website at http://www.independent.ie/travel/compass-magazine/ and in print at various locations around Dublin’s city centre.
Compass takes an off-the-beaten-track approach to travel, with features on backpacking in Japan, skiing in Australia, music festivals in Europe and GAA in the USA. A host of tips, advice and information covers locations from across the globe.
The magazine is written, designed and produced by the students of the MA in Journalism at Independent College.
