Independent College Dublin is delighted to offer a Communications Master Class with Gavin Duffy, each Tuesday evening for 10 weeks, commencing October 11th 2011.
Best known for his role on RTE’s Dragons’ Den as well as the “interviewer from hell” on TV3’s The Apprentice, Duffy is a long time internationally recognised expert on communication skills for business and brings all his experience to bear for students attending his Master Class.
“I am very excited about this programme which will cover the full suite of communication skills you need to get ahead in your career”, says Duffy. “It will cover basics like how to network and build business contacts, how to make great, memorable presentations, how to sell yourself in company or at a job interview, how to be more impactful at meetings, how to write dynamic business letters and proposals.”

The Master Class is delivered every week by Gavin, along with his business partner, former RTE Journalist Orlaith Carmody.
“It is a series of highly practical, interactive and participative lectures – my input allows us to give extra coaching and tutorials where needed” says Orlaith, who set up Gavin’s training company, Mediatraining.ie, with him in 1992.
“First and foremost the Master Class is all about honing critically important interpersonal communication skills to further your career and enhance your employability but”, says Gavin, “It will also be great fun. I know I will be looking forward to Tuesday nights and I hope students will too.”
