Journalism Students Shortlisted for Oxygen National Student Media Awards
Students from the BA and MA in Journalism have been shortlisted for awards at the Oxygen Smedias 2011.
Katie Varvos, a second-year student on the BA (Hons) in Journalism has been shortlisted in the Journalist of the Year – National Press category for work published in national newspapers. Conor Tobin, Deirdre Gilhawley, Andrew Cosgrave and Peter Flanagan’s film The Blood Line has been shortlisted in the Short Film category.
